Hops - to freeze or not to freeze

Post by Matt12398 » Tue Jun 12, 2012 9:34 pm

Hi,

Going to my first all grain soon so bought some ingredients in preparation. As I'm not brewing until a week on saturday should I put the hops in the freezer or won't it matter. They're currently in vacuum sealed packs.

I intend to freeze any of the leftover Northern Brewer afterwards.

Freeze them is always best. Just take them out when youre ready to weigh them out and keep them in the fridge if there's a delay to using them.

I often use them straight from the freezer.
