it was not a good brewday, HLT leaked, and i managed to clog my hop filter and poured just under 20l of 23?l in the neck of my fv thru a sieve..
i managed to clean the fv off and bung it in the fridge to ferment with s04, and the fridge had been set to stimulate my starter at 24C, i didnt change it or even look at it for 5 days,

it smelt sour during the kegging as well, tho better? and the first sample post conditioning wasnt nice. i thought i had got some nasty flavours from the warm fermentation and perhaps some wild yeast in during my mucking about pouring the wort into the fv. and then i worried about the keg as i couldnt remember if i had rinsed it out with videne or not...
well today was brewday too and i have to have a pint when the boil is going and i tried a pint of the sour challenger/bobek bitter.. 3 weeks in its a dry and refreshing pint.. almost tart, but i dont have the beer vocab to desribe it, NICE works for me..
im just wating for the boil outside to reduce down and am contemplating a second pint..
no i just went n poured it

cheers..
