Where can I get CO2 for cornies

Post by danskitt » Sat Oct 06, 2012 6:21 pm

Hi Guys,

I have just upgraded to Cornies and I bought a small gas canister (S30 I think???) and a couple of valves which the LHBS said I should fit to the lid. I have just read on here though that Jim doesn't recommend using this system but doesn't explain why. If I should be using a big canister and regulators what type of bottle and what type of regulator should I use? Do I need a CO2 botle for each corny or can I run two cornies off one bottle?

Thanks
Dan

You can run multiple kegs from one bottle, and just search for a co2 pub regulator on ebay.what area are you in there is a thread on local suppliers.

Andover patio centre used to do CO2 quite cheaply - you'll need a reg as well, of course.
