Brewed a basic pilsner a month or 2 back. It's conditioning in cornies now. Thought I'd give it a wee taste.
One has cleared beautifully, but tastes awful. Its got an earthy sweaty socks taste and is slightly darker than the other.
The 2nd is tasting good, but is still quite cloudy. I'm guessing the 1st is infected and due for the bin. Just interested why its cleared.
Im getting short of beer, so should I fine (magicol) the 2nd?

infection/wild yeast made it ferment quicker, hence drop clear quicker? (but in the meantime, made it taste like shit)
