Worth mentioning that this is very yeast dependant as some (coopers in particular) are extremely temp tolerant over their given range and don't seem to offer much difference in flavour.

It is a good experiment to have done though... shame there isn't a more scientific way of doing this (thats easily accessible) as its the sort of thing a few people could do and compare results after.
