Ok so this is the latest conundrum
I am going away on holiday for 2 weeks but when I get back I’m pretty much going to do a brew straight away.
So today’s question is: If I started a yeast culture before I left built it up to say about half a litre of wort with LME in the fridge and left it. Would it be ok and ready to go when I got back?
Cheers
Wilf

Re: starter
Are you talking about leaving it in a fermenting fridge at normal fermenting temperatures for 2 weeks, or fermenting it to pitching stage then storing in a cold fridge for 2 weeks?

Hello
Getting to pitching then putting on a cold fridge for two weeks or would it be ok at ambient temps for a couple of weeks?

Re: starter
Personally, I would go with getting it to pitching stage then chilling it til you get back.

I've left a grown starter in fridge for 2weeks before now and it's been just fine
