Yes........................................ do nothing, everything will be fine. I gave up using finings a long time ago and my beer is still as good as it ever was

As has been said. Do nothing. I forgot the last brew and it's amazing.

I brewed today and rather hilariously dropped a full tub of irish moss into my boiler, so sort of the opposite from you. I've drunk a seaweed beer before and it was quite nice, so I'm not worried. You shouldn't worry either :o

cheers fellas - i guess people have been brewing beer for thousands of years (since that cave - man bloke left his warm bowl of barley soup to go hunt a mammoth, and it was fermented by some wild yeast - he came back & finished it off and thought Ug like ? :=P )

we only have known about protofloc etc for about 30/40 years eh !

hanglow - enjoy your seaweed brew !

It might just be a bit cloudy or take longer to become clear. Also depends on the yeast - so flocculate (drop out suspension) better than others. For me US05 and no Irish moss means a beer that stays cloudy in the bottle for ages.

This brew is using US05 - how long will the cloudiness hang around ?

We forgot the other week to add the protofloc to 3 tons of wort.
And the beer?
Clear as crystal and flying out of the pubs.

Fine it with gelatin if you want it to clear quickly. If not just pretend its a weiss or wit
