I was thinking about my next brew last night and came up with an idea.
I can't see any reason why this wouldn't work out okay, but would welcome any further thoughts or suggestions.
I have a brew fridge that will hold one 25-30 litre fermenter. I can brew 40-50 litres per batch.
I was thinking of a fairly simple grain bill to an original gravity of 1050-1055; something along the lines of 70% pale malt, 15% pilsner malt, 10% munich and 5% wheat malt.
25-30 IBU of EKG full boil and then another 5 IBU at 10 minutes. Pull out half of the wort and ferment as a saison on rhubarb pulp.
I would then look to further boil the remaining half of the wort for another 5-10 minutes with a 10-15 IBU addition of another hop (maybe galaxy or sorachi ace) and then another addition at flame out.
Any potential pitfalls or suggestions for improvement??

One Mash Two Beers - Not PartiGyle
Cooling the first might be an issue, unless you have a cfc. Other than that sounds good!
Re: One Mash Two Beers - Not PartiGyle
Seems perfectly reasonable to me. I wouldn't worry too much about forced cooling unless it's a very hoppy beer. Have made dozens of good beers that have been cooled naturally overnight in a sterilized FV. You can always use hop tea once its cooled for more hop flavour.
Like you I have a 50l boiler so can brew up to about 43l at a push (without liqouring back). I did a double brew last year which was basically 43l of IPA wort. I simultaneously steeped some dark grains in a large pan on the hob which I added to the other half of the main wort once I had drained just over half off. I ended up with an IPA and a porter which were both great beers. I used hop tea to get more hop flavour into the IPA.

sub - I have a good plate chiller, so the cooling side shouldn't be a problem.
Rick - thanks for your input, sounds like you made a couple of good batches there
