Polaris hops

Post by Beer Luvver » Thu Jan 22, 2015 9:03 pm

I've just tried the Hermitage Polaris Single Hop IPA which I think is amazing. A very unusual hop taste and really delicious (I like unusual beers). On their website it's describes as garlic/onion taste but I disagree. It is quite 'earthy', fresh grass cuttings, spicy, almost minty flavours; something I haven't found in any other beer. Just wondered if anyone sells this hop (either whole or pellet) as I haven't been able to find it through the usual channels. Are there any other breweries that use this hop? Preferably in the East Anglia region but not too fussed. Any help greatly appreciated.
