off flavour

Post by brewsters millionths » Thu Sep 20, 2007 9:54 am

hi guys,
i've got a beer which is pale, clear, good carbonation, excellent head retention,
but is spoiled by an off flavour in it.
any of the boys in the alton area fancy helping me to identify it?
i've got two good beers on draught to wash the flavour away after .

Next North Hants brewclub meet is next Tues in Basingstoke - come along and bring the beer, the tasting part of the meeting is all about helping each other overcome imperfections in our beers.

Edit: One of the guys attending the meeting lives in Alton - possible lift share ? If you're up for it let me know and I'll give you his details.

You can do that in 2 months time at the November meeting when you've fixed the problem with the current batch. Don't worry about it not being right, working out what's wrong with beers and how it can be corrected is what it's all about! It may seem daunting but we're not all beardy-wierdy 60 yr olds, far from it 8)
