Recommend me some New English hops to try out

Aye up.

I've got to put and order in this week more more hops, grain and yeast. Recent taste tests lead me to believe that I have lost the taste earthy hops with high Humulene (H) and Farnesene (fuggles, saaz). I seem to be gravitating towards american style beers, I like the Amarillo and cascade I have in stock. In light of my last thread 'Avoiding flavours I dislike found in commercial beers' I think sticking with the dry yeasts I have and buying hops with a higher Myrcence (M) content will do the trick.

I want to try and make English hop IPA and session beers that are Englands answer to the citrus laden american and new world beers.
I'm after grapefruit, loganberry citrus flavours and aromas. I realise I won't get exactly the same effect but I reckon it will be tasty and different.

I figure the most suited hops I can get hold of are;

Pilot 3.5H 40M 'With aromas of lemon and spice, Pilot is also known for its marmalade flavour.'
Endeavour 10H 37M 'Complex blackcurrant, loganberry and spice notes best describe Endeavour’s aroma, with a wonderful grapefruit and lime flavour. It is gentler than Cascade.'
Bramling Cross 25H 36M 'Bramling Cross has a distinctive “American” aroma with flavour notes that are spicy, blackcurrant, loganberry and lemony citrus.'

others I can get hold of are:

First gold 20H 38M 'It has a wonderful tangerine, sweet orangey citrus aroma and slender spicy notes. Its flavours are of marmalade, geranium, magnolia, sweet and floral.'
Pilgrim 25H 35M 'Pilgrim has a deeply fruity, spicy, yet unusually pleasant, lemon/grapefruit aroma with flavour characteristics including verdant, berries and pears.
Minstrel 4H 25H (high Farnesene 9) 'Spiced berries with orange citrus'

Does this theory make sense?
Is anyone else doing a similar thing?
What hops would you recommend?

An extra question:
I use EKG exclusively in stouts, do you think using Pheonix with be an improvement?
'Phoenix has excellent fresh flavour characteristics that include pine, floral, chocolate, molasses and slightly spicy.'

Archer is a very nice hop if you can get hold of it.

I used Minstrel as a flame-out addition in a winter/dark ale recently and it went down very well. I found it more floral that the Malt Miller's description of 'spiced berries with orange citrus' but either way it offered something new which I hadn't experienced before. I went for 100g in a 70L batch which wasn't too much.
