So here's the thing. I've got a nice American IPA that I've given to a couple of friends to try (counter-pressure filled from Corny to PET) both liked it. One of them a former brewer turned landlord that's really into his ales and the other a work colleague that drinks a lot of imported bottles that he buys through Beer Hawk.
Through the compliments I could tell that the colleague didn't think my brew was hoppy enough.
So my question is this. The beer is to all intents and purposes finished. It's clear, carbonated and a nice drink. Certainly my best brew to date. However, if I wanted to up the hoppiness, could I just dump a bag of hops into the corny and re-purge with CO2? And, if so, is it then just a case of fishing them out once the beer hits the right note?
Late Dry Hopping?
Re: Late Dry Hopping?
Do it like that yea, or use pellets. They'll sink to the bottom eventually. Your keg sucks from the top right? Definitely go for it though

The keg draws from the bottom via the dip tube so pellet residue wouldn't be desirable. If I do it I think it might need to be in a bag or mesh strainer.

If I were doing it, I'd use leaf hops rather than pellets and use a sanitised muslin bag weighed down with a marble.

A corny dry hopper is a good shout, comes in around £30-40 from Brewbuilder, Angel Homebrew etc. They are screw cap containers with 300 ( I think) mesh so can be used in FV, Keg etc for dry hopping.
I have one and have only used it once since getting it at Christmas however the aroma from the keg was quality and you can fish it out any time should you please.

I dry hop in my cornies sometimes. Adds a decent smack of hops. Either leaf hops on a muslin bag of in one of the mentioned hop cylinders, both work well.

Thanks all. A corny dry hopper is now on my shopping list.
