Flagon Malt

So I might have a chance of some Flagon malt for a good price.

Only catch is it's going to come in a 25kg bag.

I've just been buying Maris Otter in bags couple of kgs at a time as I just do small batches.

Is this a suitable alternative to MO?

I use Crisp's pale malt that is Flagon and find it every bit as good as Maris Otter, if anything I get a slightly better efficiency.

Might have it in time for this weekend, but dissertation work may mean no time to brew!

The 25kg bag will keep for several months no problem. Just make sure it's kept dry and pest free.

Pest free is the issue, it's going to have to live in a shed, suppose I better pick up a bin for it to go in.
