They will give the winner a job.

Really simple send in 3 bottles they get judged you might win, youve got 10 weeks GO!

Or maybe not, I myself have a conditioned american stout i would like to enter... its 4 months old it would be perfect in September at 6 months old.

According to BrewDog i cant enter it because it HAS to be in a 330ml bottle not the 500ml bottle it currently resides in. So id have to send them a new batch of the same beer in a 330ml bottle that didnt really get going until it was 3 months old...

I feel like its pointless entering if the beer is at best 7/8 weeks old, am i correct?

Got a feeling that a 6 month old stout probably wouldn't be what there looking for....
It's run with tescos, they'll be looking for something commercially viable for them on a larger scale I would think !

Those who keg definitely have an advantage as well, being able to fill to specified bottles.

That's true Tesco probably wouldn't see the money in a stout. But then it's just a PR thing if they're going to select someone who happens to have a half decent IPA or SmaSh to enter them competition.

I was really up for entering the more i think about it the less I'm interested.

Also if you read the T's&C's when you enter your beer you lose all rights to the recipe etc etc so they could in theory just sell your beer and there would be nothing you could do.

The Thornbridge one is back as well and they require 500ml bottles another option instead maybe
