Looking for Pop's stout recipe

Post by Jim my » Sun Nov 27, 2016 6:51 pm

Many moons ago I brewed a recipe which I got off this forum, I'm pretty sure it was called Pops stout.......and I liked it........a lot!!!
I would like to brew it again but I can't seem to find the recipe using the search facility, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

use "site:www.jimsbeerkit.co.uk" then your search query to look on this website only

Hello Mashman, still here then :D
I've only brewed it once in 2007 and loved it. What IBU's do you aim for? Does 60IBU sound good to you?

Jim my, didn't have a specific IBU in mind, just used up some hops nearing their use by.

Running the figures through BS I get 53 IBU's

I did adjust it to give about 4.5% ABV as I like to drink a few :)
