Thanks mash I’ve ordered one now lol, never mind eh. The fv jacket is the fermentasaurus one, I got it off my brother in law. I’m not sure where he got it from but could find out

Thanks. Found it on amazon I have made a couple of these, years ago from sleeping bags, and wondered if there was any design ideas I could incorporate in my next one.

It used to be quite popular to pierce holes in a tin foil disk that is placed on top of the mash bed when sparging. The idea is to spread the sparge water so it doesn't channel through the mash.

Haha yes it’s tin foil, I got the idea from the AG guide off this forum. I dunno if it’s helped at all but I thought I would give it a try.
