96.5% pale ale malt, 3.5% medium crystal, centennial and cascade to 45 IBUs.

Righto. I struggle to work out the "how long is best" I have tried 6 weeks end to end and just 2weeks. There doesn't seem to be much difference.

It really depends on the beer. A bitter at 1.040 will be ready quicker than a barleywine at 1.090.
