i 'm looking forward to go to the Abbfest beer and food festival at Newton Abbot next weekend:

i'm going with our Roscoff beer club "BOK" and a friend from plymouth, we'll be 28 peoples !!!

Yep – I went and got some very useful cider making tips from Brimblecombe’s! Walking round the food stalls there was a blokey selling spice mixes and he had “five sachets for a fiver” and I said “How much for one” and he said “You have to buy five” and I said “I only want one” and he said “Tough”. How rude!!! He could have said “Two quid” or something. So, anyway, he lost a bit of business on that one cos loads of people heard him. Git.
It was too busy for the footprint of the event I thought – but an Ok day out.

what a fantastic weekend we'd in Newton Abbot, visiting the Tuckers maltings on the morning, beer fest on the afternoon and evening (about 140 real ale :shock: ) then we went to a pub 'Union Inn" for a few more pints, it was a rock concert ... :D
