Shock horror I finally have the chance to attend by virtue of wifely decree.

Looking forward to meeting a few faces tonight and meeting up with Mix again.

Might bring a bottle of my current brew so you can decide if its infected or fusil'd

:-)

Lovely evening gents. Very friendly, highly recommended. I was the one you expected to be much older :D
We did tasting flaws tonight. The chair added 'dopes' ape-ing known flaws to good beer and we had then the chance to critique what we found.
We tasted other brewers beers too, a good night.

It's each first Monday on the month, at the Wenlock near Old Street tube. See you next time.

Last night it was suggested the club all brew the same beer - a mild - and submit samples for comparison. The recipe called for a dark crystal. I think the one H&G supply automatically is about 60 lovibond/120 EBC. Unrelated to the meeting Mysterio (thanks) came up with these people who sell a darker crystal straight off the bat, that might suit that particular recipe.

Aye good evening, highly recommended.

I unfortunately drank a bit too much (apologies, but I don't get out much).

Woke up two train stations past wycombe

Glad you had a good time John, hope you got home ok.
And don't blame it on my 18year old sample, you only had a couple of sips :)
