Wibblers Brewery move. Help needed. FREE BEER

Post by BeerBloke » Sun Mar 01, 2009 7:08 pm

Gang.

For those that don't know I've up-sized my brewery again. This time it's a 16bbl capacity one

Basically we're working on the barn it's going in at the moment and the plan is it will be going in next weekend (Saturday 7th March) It's currently in storage in a different barn and we'll need people at both ends to assist with the loading, unloading and more importantly the dragging it into the new barn.

So, if anyone can spare some time there's free beer available and if the weather is ok I'll sort a BBQ for lunch!

Volunteers.........

If I was anywhere close to you I'd love to help out, I'd find it right intersting, like an insiders view of the brewery.
I'm sure you'll get plenty of lads for that

Thanks matey. I'm sitting here with fingers crossed hoping! These things are just too big to shift on my own and we can't get a forklift into the barn. (Ex cattle shed)

I`m not that far from you [nr. Basildon]. Would love to help but can`t drive and enjoy a beer and wife does not drive. If anyone can arrange from this area I`d love to help.

I wish you had posted this morning before I ordered 40 sacks of grain! I will have some MO saturday but it will be whole I'm afraid. I do have a mill though if you feel up to crushing it yourself though.

Let me know.

lol only slightly, there was a stone stuck in it after all. It works more or less ok now just have to refrain from attaching a drill to it :)

We will for the next floc. Even at half capacity there will be 200kg of wet grain to dig out of the tun and if we make the same recipe 133kg of special malts to crush. Hmm, we might need a bigger bucket......
