Does anyone remember it? did anyone on here go? Strange to think I may be in contact now with people I mixed with 20 years ago.
Do they do anything like this now? It would be great if it happened again and all us JBK members could meet up!

Does anyone remember?
About 20 years ago (when I were a lad) there was a national homebrewing exhibition in the Ponds Forge sports centre in Sheffield. I can't remember if it was on for a day or a weekend. I was 18 yrs old (just started brewing) and got the National Express coach to Sheffield (£4 return!) with my dad. It was a great day. I picked up loads of things like hydrometers/thermometers, taps etc. There was a jazz quartet milling round playing really cool tunes. All in all a great day.

I can recall going to a homebrew "expo" at Newcastle in the mid 1990's. All the major kit makers & equipment suppliers were there. I don't think that this happens now, iirc they used to move around the country & be held once a year.
