Nice one Ken. I spoke to Kay last week and she said you had one ready to go. Sadly, my computer doesn't like Youtube so I'll have to look on my phone later.

Thanks chaps, for all the good wishes. Will be at Washington Arts Centre courtyard bar on 6th november with a cask of Obama's Honey Porter with all proceeds to Bobby Robson foundation. Should be there around 6pm so try and get down if you can.

Good effort mate! Shame the guy at the end was like "Nothing Special About It". Seemed pretty rude to me.

Good going
So are you going to be doing some more?

Re: FROM SHEDBREWING TO WETHERSPOONS
Nice one, Ken.
I believe Alix101 would be interested to hear how you managed with the legal side of selling homebrew, as he's wanting to do a similar thing at another beer festival.
Am I right in thinking you actually made it at the brewery and that therefore they sorted all that side of it out?

Hello all. Just thought I would let all north east homebrewers know of an event at Washington Arts Centre on 6th november.pdtnc wrote:Good goingSo are you going to be doing some more?
I have been asked by Cheers North East magazine to replicate the brewing of President Obamas Honey Porter which will be freely served at Washington Arts Centre on 6th November to tie in with the US presidential elections. I will be there from 4pm until bladdered. It will be true to type and all proceeds will go to the Bobby Robson foundation. I have conveted the original Whitehouse recipe to metric from US and will be calling the brew HONEY POT (US)... POT(US)= PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Get it??
Would appreciate the support of JBK members. should be a good un.
Cheers
Ken.
