All American ACB Showdown

Post by Cobnut » Thu Aug 22, 2024 3:34 pm

Anglian Craft Brewers (angliancraftbrewers.org.uk) are pleased to announce that their 2024 Homebrew competition will be held on 16th November in conjunction with our friends at the Briarbank brewpub in Ipswich (briarbank.org).

This year's competition will focus solely on American styles in the BJCP Style guide 2021 and will open for entries on Saturday 31st August (the competition website lists the styles accepted).

Initially we are limiting the competition to a maximum of 80 entries and one entry per brewer, but we reserve the right to change this nearer to the date of the competition.

Register at https://competition.angliancraftbrewers.org.uk/ for competitors and judges.

Places still available for this competition at https://competition.angliancraftbrewers.org.uk/ and we'd welcome a few more judges to spread the load too.

I have just announced our first sponsors:

Artefact Brewing (https://artefactbrewing.co.uk/) who are a small craft brewery based on a farm near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. They will be providing a selection of their excellent beers to one of our table winners.

Crisp Malts (https://crispmalt.com/) one of the UK's premier malsters who are offering sacks of their excellent malts to some of our table winners.

Please join us.
