Sure. Can't guarantee there will be 18 left by the time Sutton comes around, I may have drunk or sold them lolAleman wrote:Phil,BeerBloke wrote:If anyone from Essex/NE London wants beer taken down then let me know as I'll be 'helping' run it again.
Any chance of shoving 18 bottles into your cold store at the brewery when I come down, for subsequent transport to Sutton . . . Doubt if I'll get a pass out for it . . . As usual

I'll have been brewing a year in September and dont think my beers will likely to win anything. I guess it'll be nice to get some proper critiques and good pointers into what areas I need to improve though. Also good to share some time and beers with like minded people. I'm going to enter whatever is ready at the time!

I know a couple of people who were thinking exactly that last year...booldawg wrote:I'll have been brewing a year in September and dont think my beers will likely to win anything.

I'd say definitely give it a go, with the feedback you get plus all the brewers you'll meet there's nothing to lose!

You can leave your beers at Cheers Homebrewing in Cheam before the event, or if you can't arrange that you can bring them on the day before 9.30 I think

You can bring you beers up in the morning before judging. You'll have to then explore the cultural delights of Sutton until 1.30 thoughbooldawg wrote:I notice judging is 10.00-13.00. The website states the festival opens at 1.30pm. I guess you get your entries up a day before and turn up at 1.30 after the judging has finished?

I phoned him up and he sent me the application form and entry rules, I can pass them onto you if you IM me your email address. However I did ask him a few questions by mail on Saturday and he's not got back to me yet so guess he's either busy in the shop or just erratic at replying!Aleman wrote:How do you get Richard to send entry forms though . . . Has he worked out what email is yet?
Seriously, he used to have entry forms and details on the web page but its all missing this year. I've emailed him asking for forms and details of 'styles' but no reply yet.
I didnt get a styles guide off him but guess its the the as last years one thats on the site?

Richard has definagtely mastered email as I had one from him a couple of days ago. Seems the increase in bottle entries is worrying him as he want's to ensure there's enough beer to maintain the 'walk in, crawl out' motto. I'll be bringing a few cornies along so there'll be quantity if not quality lol

It's useful for us to have an idea on numbers in advance but as long as you do one with your ntry that's fine.

What's the increase? (I was planning on bringing 12 x 500ml bottles of my entry)BeerBloke wrote:Richard has definagtely mastered email as I had one from him a couple of days ago.
