Right, I'll get Garth to pick a date from 4th, 11th and 18th May (I'm assuming we can all make any of those??)

EDIT: He thinks he's going to be away for all those dates, but he's going to check when he gets home.

I can't wait that long for a pint.
I see Fitzgerald's (Sunderland) are on April 4th having a Real Ale Quiz at 7.00 with 9 draught ales from Dark Star at 10% off normal prices. The last such occasion, a few weeks since, was with Thornbridge and there were some cracking pints. I'll not be able to make the start of the quiz but will be there early enough to sample the ales.

Of course you will Jim. In truth, life's a bit busy at the moment so I've no cause to rock the boat, just thought I'd do a bit extra stirring.

By my calculations, everyone that's expressed an interest should be able to make it on that date.

Are Southerners allowed? Visiting my son & daughter-in-law in Durham over that weekend.

I can spill beer, if that helps.

Great, then I'll make sure he doesn't do something daft like book a restaurant Friday evening for some family bonding type stuff.

We just get there whenever suits. People generally turn up anytime between 7pm and half 8.
