Re: North London Club
I am a member of County Beermakers. We meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Birkbeck Arms in Leyton. We are a mixture of home brewers from enthusiast to national guild of wine and beerr judge status. Please visit our website for more information or contacy me direct. We are always looking for new members.
Re: North London Club
Its a bit fare from me in Pinner but i would love to join or atleast meet a few local brewers. I just moved here from Seattle WA and am trying to get to know other brewers.
Re: North London Club
You are welcome any time. We do have an American member, can't remember where he comes from but think its Washington DC. There is of course Durden Park Beer Club which I also belong to and they meet in Perrivale on third Monday of the month. See info on their website.
Re: North London Club
Hey Glenn and others,
I'm in Wood Green/Turnpike Lane/Seven Sisters area. I'm intending to go along to the LAB meeting on Monday - maybe see you there?

Re: North London Club
Kind of via my beer guru at Cheers Homebrew who has a link on his website to the Craft Brewers Association. They in turn have a link to the LAB, so I emailed them and they put me on their mailing list.Tony01 wrote:hey dedken

Re: North London Club
I would emphasise I am referring to County Beermakers and/or Durden Park clubs not the Craft Brewers of which I have no personal knowledge.
Re: North London Club

A pretty good group of about 15 brewers of varied experience and from all walks of life. some have only been brewing for a short while, others for years. I've learnt a hell of a lot at these meetings and it's nice to share your brews and get feedback on them while getting the chance to try others brews. The highlight of my month really. The pub is also very nice with an ever changing choice of ales from loads of micros.
