Tockwith Beer Festival

Post by bigdave » Thu Mar 25, 2010 1:01 pm

This has landed on my desk this morning so thought I'd share it with you all.

Saturday 8th May 2010 - Tockwith Beer Festival, Tockwith Village Hall
Located in the centre of the village, the festival starts at 12 noon till the beer runs dry. Entry is £5 and includes a festival glass, tasting notes and a free beer token. The list of Yorkshire Ales has increased from 20 to 28 firkins so there will be a wide choice. There are several bands booked throughout the day which will be playing a variety of music. There will be traditional pies and mushy peas (from the famous Wetherby Whaler) available throughout the day and a variety of drinks will be on sale in addition to the ales. Children are welcome under parental supervision.
If you would like further information about the event, local travel (Bus route 412/413 from Wetherby/York) and amenities please call Clare on 01423 358449 or Cath on 01423 358093
or email:
clare.reeder@btinternet.com
or cathtunnard@sky.com.
