Bit far isn't Dave? Judging by the amount of people there last night, I would be suprised if there was anything left by Saturday. We arrived at 6.30pm ish and had to queue and there was hardly room to move (the room has a 1200 capacity for gigs).

But if you do fancy it, when you arrive at central station, take the Metro to 'Haymarket' and follow the signs for Newcastle uni student union. It is on the otherside of the road to haymarket station and is currently under developement so you will see all the security fencing.

Our choice was Marble 'Pint'. 3.9% and full of hops

I was really impressed to wander into our Union today and find this, I had no clue it was here. I couldn't stay today but will be going back at 12 sharp tomorrow (if theres anything left!). I fancy me a souvenir tankard for supping some beer!
