Re: MCBA Burton Meeting 15th May
This was a great experience for me as it is the first time I have had a hobby where theres an official meet to go to!
We had a great day at Burtonbridge brewery, which included a tour and some lovely beers as well as lunch.
we then moved on to the Coppers Arms which is a lovely small pub with gravity poured beers on the bar.
If you live anywhere in the Midlands, even if you dont want to join the CBA I would recommend to come to these meetings, I learnt alot in one afternoon and the standard of peoples homebrew was staggering TBH.

The Coopers tavern is a real gem it used to be the Bass brewery bottle store. I couldn't make it to the Burton meeting but will be at the Nottingham meet, are there any pubs in notts I can visit that serve gravity beers?
Re: MCBA Burton Meeting 15th May
Hmmm not sure about gravity beers. Maybe someone else can help.!

The guy who owns it is a very nice chap who also owns the Roundhouse, tow of my favourite pubs in town. They always have Blue Monkey and Full Mash on and there is a new brewery just opened in Colwick called Flipside, they have some of their beers on too which are great.
