Having visited the Goods Shed in Canterbury today I had a chat with the bloke at the bottle shop who mentioned that local home brewers had a meeting there on the first wednesday of every month.
Anyone know any more?
Cheers

Canary Tim Hi, did you ever get an answer? I have just started my very 1st ever brew using a starter kit, and am interested in finding a club to join and learn from. Like you I am from Ashford.

Hi Keith,
Yes, I spoke to a nice bloke at the Bottle Shop in the Goods Shed, who seemed to know a lot about it. http://www.bottle-shop.co.uk
Never go round to going in the end, in spite of working out that there's a direct train from my local station, Pluckley which would avoid the need to drive. I've still got a couple of bottles of my 8.8% Blackberry Baltic Porter that I was going to take along for comparative tasting purposes.
I've knocked the brewing on the head for the moment: too warm and one too many off brews. Ill start again in the autumn,

Have been along once a couple of months ago. Very informal bring, swap, sample. Nice bunch of folks. They have a twitter account at @EastKentAB
