Faversham Hop Festival

Post by scuppeteer » Tue Aug 28, 2012 11:09 pm

Will be making my first visit to this, this weekend. Looks a bit good for some real nostalgia and of course beer. And no you don't just have to drink S&N, I believe another quite popular Kent micro will be providing the official beer for this one. :D

Can't be arsed to keep changing this bit, so, drinking some beer and wanting to brew many more!

Sir, you are drunk! Yes madam, and you are ugly, but in the morning I shall be sober! - WSC

Cracking weekend wasn't it? Tried lots of new Kent micro stuff. Hop Fuzz American, Foundry Torpedo and Caveman Citra all particularly took my fancy (and most of my pocket money).

Good showing from Old Dairy, Whitstable, Nelson, Gadds and Hopdaemon, and had to try a half of the SN Harvest ale (it would be rude not to ad they sponsor a lot of the entertainment). Wish I hadn't.

Did you catch any of the Morris dancing? My team is the "host team" and we invited some old friends from Hammersmith Morris and Great Western (Exeter) to join us. I guarantee that, even if you're not a fan, you would have been impressed.
