Alton Winter Beer Festival 2013

Is this weekend 22nd/23rd February. I'm going to the Saturday lunchtime session, anyone else attending ?

We had a great time. Loads of great beers and some ciders. The entertainment was pretty good too.
We're definitely looking forward to the summer one as I love doing my bit for charidee

What did you guys think of the Triple fff beers? I love the name and concept of the "Pressed Rat & Warthog" hoppy dark mild.

and concept of the "Pressed Rat & Warthog"
was good until they closed down there shop,they didnt want to as it as all they had got,now you cant get atonal apples anywhere, not to sure what happened to the collection of dog legs and feet

Triple fff were one of the breweries on last Saturday's RAT. It was a sunny evening and the Hallelujah went down a treat.
I would have have had the pressed rat otherwise. A favourite and my local too

Very cool. The Old Dray ESB sounds tasty, too. Have you ever talked to them about recipes or yeast or anything?

I do know someone that works there but they have been reluctant to pass on much in the way of details so far.
I'll have to go to the open day to see what's going on
I'd really love to make the Alton pride for example.
