I can think of a couple

The Lab Event
The 2015 London and South East Craft Brewing Competition and Festival is now open for entries, with the competition taking place at Truman’s brewery in Hackney on 25th April.

The London and South East Craft Brewing Competition and festival is a BCJP sanctioned competition where your beers are assessed by qualified judges against current style guidelines. Score sheets and written feedback will be provided on each entry. Rosettes, certificates and prizes will be awarded in each of 10 Category groupings and for Best of Show placings.

The beers are then made available to sample and discuss with fellow competitors and friends in a festival-type setting in the afternoon - providing a unique opportunity to sample hundreds of homebrews, arranged in their style groupings, with great and excellent examples of the styles flagged. A rare and excellent opportunity to compare your beers against others brewed to the same style, or just to explore the wide range of styles being made today.

We will have a great selection of prizes from homebrew shop vouchers to brew tours, crates of beer, vials of yeast and other brewers delights – usually extending to the top 3 in each of 10 categories, plus Best of Show.

There is a competition at The Home Brew Festival in June http://www.thehomebrewfestival.co.uk

and finally the National Competition www.nationalhomebrewcompetition.org.uk which will probably be held in Bristol in September

I know this sounds like a really daft question but can anyone enter this? or is it a regional thing?

The The National and the Lab Event are open to all brewers, the Homebrew Festival event is open to members of the Homebrew Festival Club only . . . Which is open to all to join ;)

The National has a limit of 500 beers, I think the LAB event has no limit, And the Home brew Festival 150 beer limit (Currently, it may be raised depending on the number of judges they can get ;) )

Last years LAB event had about 150 entries which we just about managed to handle.
If this was to increase to 300 then we would have a problem.

It really helps if people gets entries registered on the website well ahead of the date to allow us to gauge demand for the various resources - Judges being the main one.
Check out the beers we have for sale @ Mix Brewery
