Some good people on and it’s interesting they have someone commercially brewing some of Ron’s recipes - sort for the short notice but hopefully some of you will be on:

https://www.crowdcast.io/e/IPA-Past-Pre ... e/register

“Join me as I explore the origins of IPAs (India Pale Ales) with some of the most knowledgeable IPA authors and brewers in the brewing world. Author and beer historian Ron Pattinson will give us the history of English IPAs. Vinnie Cilurzo, Brewer and Owner of Russian River Brewing Company, will expand on this story and give us the origins of Pilny and Pliny the Younger. Mike Karnowski will elaborate on how IPA’s history can influence the style’s future. We will wrap up our time together with Mitch Steele as he promises to bring it all together and discuss the future trends of IPAs.

What You Will Learn about IPA's:

The true origin story of the English IPA
Origins and inspirations of the American and Double IPA
Current trends and the future of IPAs

Commercial Calibration (available for purchase from Zebulon Brewing).

Original IPA circa 1840 (Brit)
1902 Whitbread
1918 Whitbread
1946 Boddingtons
1974 West Coast (US)
1994 West Coast (US)
Question and Answer: Ron and Mitch will answer your questions in the second half of each discussion”

Thanks for this. I have had this running on the TV in the garden bar and it has been pretty interesting! Ron certainly likes a chat.

No worries, it has turned out to be really interesting but might be easier on catchup for some due to the length.
A great mix of people.
