Yeah, it is. I can plug direct in and it works. So I am gonna put the brew on hold and go watch Roots Manuva. And then come back drunk to finish off the brew, what could possibly go wrong?!

Let us know how this turns out Gricey. I have about 300g of EKG thatwere given to me as a sample and have been thinking about an English Hop-Bomb type beer.

Cheers!

1.066 adjusted but down to about 19.5L (no thermostat = evaporation city!). I need to add around 3.5L to get to where I need to be, which means I am about a litre short but that's fine :-)

This is my slackest brew to date, cooling basically done then summoned to the pub! Lid went on the boiler, 2 pints and back now. Will runoff to fv and pitch shortly...

My first time, he was ace! Witness the fitness!

My fave RM track is actually a collab with Chali 2na from Jurassic 5 ... "Join the Dots", top tune :-)

OG was 1.055, so off by one point, I'll live with that! Safely in the FV now, I'm making the starter for the Hefe next, the dreaded explosive WLP300 :-)

Hopefully Roots inspired the brew, just did the Tough Mudder event in Scotland, team was 'Witness the Fitness', chanting that song with my team got me through the last 3-4 miles!

Expected Pre-Boil Gravity: 1.057 SG Expected OG: 1.056 SG

Can you explain this to me? I wouldn't expect the pre boil gravity to be higher than the OG, is it due to liquouring back?
I am "The Little Red Brooster"

Sweet. This and the next beer were inspired by me wanting beer taps on the wall during a BBQ :-)

I have to say, all the boiling and fannying about and its quite dark, still I am sure it will be nom :-)

Orlando, yeah, the funny OG difference is due to liquoring back at the end of the boil. Not sure I'd have done it this way but I'm using some software to do this for me this time (BeerAlchemy). Let's see how it turns out!
