The Funkin fruit purée pouches are quite popular amongst brewers and seem to give very good results from feedback that I have seen, with the caveat that it will also depend on the fruit chosen and that you may lose some flavours that would be present in skins/seeds.
Another alternative for some fruits that I an currently exploring, but a bit more involved, is to purée and freeze/gelatine concentrate a fruit when it is ripe, essentially making your own purée that can be frozen/pasteurised when the fruit is at its peak and then used when you want. It’s particularly useful for watery fruit which you might struggle to get flavour from otherwise. I currently have just over 4kg very ripe watermelon frozen in cubes ready to concentrate when I get a chance this week; thread to follow on the process, if I can keep my wife away from them in the meantime!
