Good brewday!
TT Landlord was my first BIAB all grain too! Now you can start experimenting with all sorts of interesting recipes.
AG BIAB # 1 TT Landlord
Re: AG BIAB # 1 TT Landlord
After 12 days this has cleared right out. The trub seems to have clumped really well allowing the beer to be siphoned out with clarity for conditioning. Any ideas what helped this, as it's miles clearer than any kit I've done, including pilseners.
Could it be the yeast, or the Irish Moss?
It tastes hundreds of times better than ANY kit...I was cynical for a long time about the taste difference, but it's remarkable!

That looks great, but keep those clear bottles out of the light!

Re: AG BIAB # 1 TT Landlord
Good work with your first AG brew daf!
I brewed a 10L Biab of the GW TTL recipe a couple of years ago, and even though I missed my OG and FG by a mile, it was still half decent.
It's on my evergrowing 'to do list' to brew again on my 3V setup.
I don't have an answer for you really, but I've found most of my AG brews have cleared and conditioned alot quicker than kits
Cheers

Re: AG BIAB # 1 TT Landlord
Did u adjust ur hops for no chill daf ?, if u did how u go about it
cheers

Re: AG BIAB # 1 TT Landlord
I didn't adjust them to be honest.
What I do now though, in the past few brews, is to put the flame-out hops directly into the no-chill-cube. Works like a hopstand (I think the searchable phrase is 'cube hopping').
I wait till the wort temp drops to around 80c first though, mainly because I faff around.

Re: AG BIAB # 1 TT Landlord
this is a fav beer of mine and something I want to brew again....
a few notes/questions
1- I have went as suggested and like you without any wheat, but the head I have is rubbish, zero lacing and no retention (still tastes great)
I'll be using some wheat next time
2- I sometimes use Notty, but its is not my preference, its far too neutral for this beer, SO4 would be better, 1469 west yorkshire if you can get it, you miss the fruity twist the yeast adds
3- it is expensive, but the step up from MO to Golden Promise is a treat and worth considering
