hi folks , im thinking of doing my #2 biab, thinking bowt doing some sort of stout , is anyone willing to send me a bottle of thee home made stout so i can see what it tastes like as ive never had it before, woz looking for double choc vanilla stout or something, just so i can taste it for myself before i go buy all the ingredients, if anyone would do that id be grateful thanks if so pm me cheers

You'll probably have better luck locating a commercial example.

The oatmeal doesn't add flavour, but gives the beer a more silky texture. A vanilla stout is english style stout with a hint of vanilla :wink:

Not tried it but Titanic do a bottled Choc and Vanilla Stout which they also bottle for Morrison's.
Sam Smith's bottled Oatmeal Stout is a good example and available nationally.
