FUBAR bitter brew day

Post by MattGuk » Sat Jan 23, 2021 8:23 pm

Brewed up a bitter today, and already can't wait until its ready.
Will post a screen shot of the recipe along with brew day pics.
FUBAR stands for Fuggled Up Beyond All Recognition.
Was a really good brew day, although my efficiency on this batch Is WAY down compared to my last batch, 63% today as opposed to 79 on the last.

Lovely copper colour, picture doesn't do it justice, proper picture is too large to post.

Can't figure out how to post multiple pics in one post, sorry about that lol.
I think my efficiency dropped a bit because the wort drained almost instantly, as opposed to the last brew, it drained very slow which I think help pull more sugars through

And finally, the finished article.
Beautiful colour, althought the pic doesn't really quite show it.
Lovely soft bitterness, and and absolute quaffer

Haha, it's all in pour my friend.
I have no idea why my pictures keep turning on the side like that.

Just a side note, I used 3 easy kegs and 10 pet bottles to package this, was really surprised when pouring a pint a short while ago to find it had carved in this little keg.
I added no priming sugar at all to this batch and after 2 days of being under little pressure from the party star tap, it's carbed up, luckily I didn't set the tap regulator to max or else it may have been too fizzy.
