Brewday With My Home Built Single Vessel System

Brewing today an American Pale Ale.
Grist is:
Joe White Signature Ale Malt 85%
Simpsons Light Crystal 5%
Best Malz Malted Wheat 5%
Best Malz Munich 1 5%

60 min hop addition.
Cascade 10 g
Mosaic 10 g
Simcoe 10 g

Immersion chiller added to boiling wort to sterilise.

At the end of the boil I cooled the wort to just under 80C and added 30g of Cascade, 30g of Mosaic and 30g of Simcoe.
I then let that sit for 30 mins.
Making beer so good goats want to drink it.

Yeast pitched and safely in the fermentation fridge.
There will be a dry hop added during fermentation consisting of 50g of Centennial, 50g of Mosaic and 50g of Simcoe.

Was aiming for 1.051 and it was spot on so very happy.

That’s a really nice and neat system. Thanks for sharing.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

Fermenting: nowt
Conditioning: English IPA/Bretted English IPA
Drinking: Sunshine Marmalade, Festbier, Helles Bock, Smokey lagery beer, Irish Export StoutCascade APA (homegrown hops), Orval clone, Impy stout, Duvel clone, Conestoga (American Barley wine)
Planning: Dark Mild, Kozel dark (ish), Simmonds Bitter, Bitter, Citra PA and more!
