Today I'm doing this one from Marc Ollosson's book, the first time I've brewed one of his recipes.
21 litres
In the mash tun
Pale malt 4455g
Wheat Malt 180g
60 min. mash @ 66°C
In the copper
Cascade 66g
Last 15 mins
Cascade 19g
60 min boil
Yeast Safale US-05
Started a bit earlier than last time, the first sparge volume is coming up to the boil, 2nd barch sparge now running off.

Enjoy

I did my First Marc Ollosson recipe last month - Winter Royal and, the samples I've had are very encouraging.

Thanks chaps, all done & dusted now.
Just a few issues during the brew, I couldn't get a decent rolling boil with one element so I had both on for most of the time which of course resulted in a slightly smaller volume at the end.
I also steeped 15g of Cascades once the wort had cooled to about 80 °C so lost a bit more to the hops.
I ended up with 20l @ 1.055, overshooting my desired O.G. by 10 points so I topped up with filtered water & finished with just over 23l @ 1.045.
Finally, whilst cleaning up, managed to empty half the hops from the boiler over my jeans/trainers much to the amusement of SWMBO. Ho hum

Top Stuff
I'd be really interested to know how this one works out Roger, as I'd like to have a crack at a decent IPA myself in the new year. Could you post details of the FG you get and some tasting notes if you have a sample or two? It would be much appreciated. I particularly like the fact that Marc says he could happily drink this for the rest of his days...
Cheers. B

I'll certainly let you know how it turns out Buzz, although I can't promise a review of the same sort of standard as Wez, Callum, Vossy et al on their beer swap thread, my tastebuds are a little less, er, cultured.
I particularly like the fact that Marc says he could happily drink this for the rest of his days...
That's one of the main reasons I chose to brew it, hope I can do it justice.

Have you had a sneaky taste yet Roger. How's it coming along

I've been a very good boy & haven't touched it yet Buzz, it's been in the keg 2 weeks as of today & I'm going to try to leave it for 2 more. I've just started to drink my
Bateman's XXXB (that's been in the keg 4 weeks) to help me avoid temptation

was the OG 1045 RTD?
and what was the IBU's?
I should really buy his book, there seems to be a lot of good recipes in there.
is Mark still on here?
