John Bull Wheat LME

Just wondering if anyone has any recipes for this LME. What I'm mainly wondering is would you use 100% wheat LME or mix it. I think John Bull is regular LME with a bit of wheat mixed in so that I could just use it for the extract. However, if it were 100% wheat extract I beleive you would use only up to 50-60% for the recipe, depending on style.

I'm only guessing from the description on the tin: Golden & highly flavorsome. Lager malt extract & wheat syrup.

So recipe wise 3.2kg of Wheat LME, Hallertauer Hersbrucker (60), Saaz (15), Cascade (dry hop), Fermentis wheat? 20 IBU, 5 SRM, 4.5%?

Good point. Am brewing next week so hopfully I can figure this out by then.

I use BeerSmith and unfortunatly the DB is rather old. It doesn't include JB Wheat so I duplicated an entry from light LME. I own BeerToolsPro too, although I don't use it. It says the following:
Dry Basis: 96.94%
Moisture: 20.0%
Potential: 8.98 °Plato

I found this site: http://myhomebrew.com/sg0.html which says it is 1.0358 SG when I plug in 20C and 8.98 Plato.

So that would put the recipe, as-is, to 1.043SG and 4.2%. I do have some Muntons DME on-hand. Maybe I should throw in 500g to push it up to 5%.

Well I do a full 20l boil (I do then top off 2) so hopefully I get around that problem. Will chew on it. Cheers
