bottling lager

i have just fermented 25 litres of lager and i have no clue what to now do. Rather than buying many glass bottles will plastic bottles such as sparkling water bottles ( 2 Litres) be ok? or will they just burst?

Hi and welcome to Jims

Lots of people on here use the plastic PET bottles for their beer, make sure you keep the sunlight off them though unless they are brown (which I doubt)

You might want to have a nose about the forum to look at priming the bottles, qty of sugar to use for lager that sort of thing.

I can't help on that, I don't brew lager and I try not to bottle if I can help it.

Yeah as wez said those bottles will be fine if they held pressured liquids before, the problem comes when pouring as the sediment gets disturbed so your'll need to pour the lot in one go, and remember to chill it real cold first. thats the great thing about plastic bottles the fit nicely in the fridge.
