Coffee Porter?

Discussion on brewing beer from malt extract, hops, and yeast.

I was inspired by the Dark Star Espresso Stout some time ago. Without doing too much research, I experimentally threw a couple of handfuls of whole espresso beans in to a strong-ish 5 gallon AG stout brew about 15 minutes from the end of the boil.

Personally, I was incredibly pleased with it and it was one of the most well-received brews I have made.

First off though I need to come up with a nice porter!
