All went well (i think) apart from panicking my cobbled together boiler wasn't going to melt/collapse due to the 110oC boiling temps and a bit of flapping after realising my home made immersion chiller wouldnt accept the hose pipe i had.
Anyway i will cut to the chase.
My OG was 1042 it has been fermenting with safbrew Ale s-33 since tuesday evening at a constant temp of 21oC. Fermentation seemed to have stopped this morning when i checked it and i took a FG of 1012. i have just purchased a couple of cornie kegs from norm and a widget world starter with nitrogen/co2 mix from h&g. I thought if i am going to do this i may as well go the whole hog and do it right.
The question is this. I have some youngs beer finings and some black treacle to finish off the brew. Just wondered how i go about this now. Do i add the finings to the primary FV then wait. then transfer to the corny and add the small amount of treacle i want to prime it wait and then go bananas adding the co2 or do i add the finings after the black treacle priming has finnished or so i use a secondary FV before transfering to the corny.
Cheers
