I've just finished a 15kg container of Pale Malt Extract with my sixth brew.Because I'm such a cheapskate,this time round i've not used any additional malts for colouring or taste.
It seems that with each succesive brew the beer has got slightly darker in colour when you would think the colour would be same each time.
Is this because there is some sort of settling with the extract or are my eye cells getting progressively damaged each brew along with my brain cells and spelling,or am I just seeing things or experiancing demons?

Malt extract darkens with age so that's probably the reason.
