Dry Hopping

Post by mwone13 » Sat Oct 24, 2009 5:03 pm

I am attempting the London Pride clone at the mo, just looking to transfer across to secondary. I noticed on the recipe to dry hop at this point. I don't have any whole hops, would the foil packed stuff be ok. ?
I presume i just pop these in a steralized bag and throw them in. Any thoughts..

I always dry hop with pellets , I put them in a clean bag along with some stainless steel nuts and bolts and drop them in.

Yup, dry hopping just means adding them straight into the FV; doesn't matter which type of hops you use.
Aroma hops are often added after the wort has cooled and the beer has fermented, a technique known as "dry hopping" which contributes to the hop aroma.
