we all know stainless steel and copper are ok to use in the boiler etc .but i can get hold off some brass rod 2mm --12mm in dia .i want to make a plunge basket to hold my grains in while in the boiler. is brass safe to use? :idea:

i would hope so....many people here use brass compression fittings and tank connectors on the inside of their mashtuns and boilers.

I've got brass compression joints in my boiler and MT and they're fine.
