its not brewing grade extract, i bought quite a few 1lb jars when they ran buy a 2nd for a penny deal on, and used it for a ginger beer, the results were poor when compared to the same recipe made with brewing extract.

Not surprising! It says on the label

Contains Wheat, Rye, Barley and Oat
