mini brew 1Gallon

anyone got a recipe for a 1 gallon extract brew of mild and a method on what to do, want to have a go at extract but i havnt got equipment for a 5 gallon batch thought if i do 1 gallon and thats ok then i may ask santa for some big toys. Then who knows maybe even A/G i presume equipment is basically the same for extract and A/G
